Angels future looks to two young stars

Tributes like this make many LAAngel fans wonder how the postseason 2014 might have played out if Garrett Richards had not suffered a late-season injury just prior to end of the regular season. If you don't remember the details, Richards, who suffered the injury while covering first base in an Aug. 20 game against the Boston Red Sox in Fenway Park, could have been the legitimate #1 or #2 pitcher in the Angels lineup at season end, except for the knockout injury.
