▶ 2013 Louisville Cardinals ▶ STORIES
▶We would be remiss to go into #MarchMadness 2014 without a nostalgic look back at last year's champion in the NCAAMB FINAL FOUR in Atlanta: The Louisville Cardinals.
▶The 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament was a single-elimination tournament that involved 68 teams playing to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 19, 2013, and concluded with the championship game on April 8, 2013, at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. This was the 75th edition of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, dating to 1939.▶The Final Four consisted of Louisville, making their second straight appearance, Wichita State, making their second ever appearance, Syracuse, making their first appearance since their 2003 national championship, and Michigan, returning for the first time since the Fab Five's second appearance in 1993 (which was later vacated). Wichita State won the West Region as a #9 seed, making them the first team seeded ninth to make the Final Four since the tournament's expansion and the first to do it in any tournament since Penn did it in 1979.
▶Louisville defeated Michigan in the championship game by a final score of 82-76, winning their first national title since 1986. They also are the last team from the original Big East Conference to win a national championship. ▶ SOURCE : WIKIPEDIA ▶
